Haus für Poesie presents a selection of the best films from the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival. The programme shows short films on the subject of “Poetry and Technology”. On the one hand, the poetry films are technically extremely sophisticated and on the other, they deal with topics such as artificial intelligence, algorithms and social media. How does AI replace humans – in straightforward tasks and complicated ones? How does a farm rebel against technology, the fulfilment of plans, where what it sees, thinks or feels is not important? The films are based on poems by Jörg Piringer, Raed Wahesh and Yehuda Amichai, among others.

Presented by Thomas Zandgiacomo Del Bel, who will join is for a special in-person Q&A all the way from Berlin.

The film screening and Q&A will both be BSL interpreted by Nikki Harris. The film screening itself will be captioned.

The event is also available to watch via live stream, however this will only be the screening itself and not the Q&A.
