A event held at Watershed on Saturday 20th August. The event starts at 18:00.

The Feast (18), in Welsh with English subtitles
Dir: Lee Haven Jones, 93 mins

This outstanding slow-burning Welsh-language folk horror sees a wealthy family host a sumptuous dinner, only for a mysterious young server to chillingly affect their lives with terrifying consequences they could never see coming...

In a luxurious house in the Welsh countryside, a well-off family prepare for an extravagant dinner party. They are on a mission to impress their neighbour and broker a valuable mining deal in the surrounding countryside. Tensions are already running high when their hired help Cadi (Annes Elwy) arrives, traipsing dirt into their home and bringing a quiet, unsettling presence to the evening. As the night progresses, she begins to challenge the family's beliefs and slowly unravel their lives...

A carnivorously chilling, disquieting and delicious debut from Lee Haven Jones... we hope you're hungry.

The Sat 20 Aug 18:00 screening will be followed by a Q&A with writer/producer Roger Williams and lead actor Annes Elwy. The film without a Q&A is screening from Fri 19 Aug for at least one week.
