Sarah, an Israeli café owner in West Jerusalem, and Saleem, a Palestinian delivery driver from East Jerusalem, begin a clandestine affair. When an apparently private relationship attracts the attention of the security services, their lives and marriages are pulled into an escalating political crisis. Muayad Alayan’s tense drama explores how borders, surveillance and suspicion invade everyday intimacies, exposing the unequal power that shapes life in a divided city.
