A
event
on Tuesday 24th February. The event starts at 18:30.
No storytelling experience needed!
This event is for anyone wanting to connect with community, be creative and share a delicious meal together.
Together, we will create and share stories which celebrate our communities, identify their needs and which envisage a world we want to see. Come alone or with a friend — we design the event so everyone meets new people and leaves feeling more connected.
THE COMMUNITY RESILIENCE STORY-MAKING PROGRAMME
This is the first event of MaFia Weekend's 9-month Community Resilience Story-Making programme. Together, we create and share stories which celebrate our communities, identify their needs and envisage a world we want to see.
PROGRAMME AIMS:
-Express and explore challenging topics through creative activities
-Celebrate the strengths of our communities & understand their needs
-Meet, connect, and collaborate with others working to build more inclusive, cohesive communities in Bristol.

ABOUT THE ORGANISERS
Mafia Weekend CIC is a Bristol-based participatory film and storytelling organisation. We create spaces where people can reconnect with nature, community and their own creativity through collaborative creation, workshops and public gatherings. Our work centres wellbeing, belonging and empowerment — supporting people from all backgrounds to share their stories, build confidence and experience the power of community.
We run events, co-created films, intergenerational programmes and nature-based storytelling gatherings across the UK, with accessibility and inclusion at the heart of our practice.
