Make a replica medieval tile pressed from a mould or follow the technique with your own design. The course involves making two to four tiles which will then be glazed and fired after the class.

When following your own design you will be carving leather hard clay, a similar technique to linocut. Bring any artwork or designs (medieval or contemporary) you want to work from with you, these can be traced onto the clay as template.
