Common Threads at Windmill Hill City Farm

A event on Wednesday 15th October. The event starts at 19:00.

Poetry | Stories | Hands-On Making | Drinks & Buffet Food

Curious about Bedminster’s past and present? This is an open invitation to connect with neighbours, hear fresh perspectives, and share your own.

Join restorative poet Leeza Awojobi for an evening of local stories and togetherness. Over the past few months, Leeza has been gathering voices from across Bedminster to explore what this place means to the people who live here.

What to expect:
· Inspiring poetry readings from Leeza
· A short, beautifully shot film about the local area
· Sharings from residents who have a meaningful connection to Bedminster
· A hands-on mini sewing workshop where you can add your thread to the story of Bedminster

Plus: tasty buffet food and plenty of time to chat with others.

Whether you’ve lived here for years or just moved in, this night is for anyone who wants to feel more connected to the place they call home.

Join us at the Windmill Hill City Farm Café at 7pm.

The performance and film screening will be finished by 8:15pm and you are warmly invited to stay for more drink, food and sewing until 9.00pm.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
