One of the most famous musicals ever written, RENT is a rock musical set in late 80's New York. It follows a group of young artists living with the effects of AIDS, poverty and the drug crisis, all struggling to get by, yet holds out hope with their redemptive love for one another. RENT is lively and joyful, yet heart wrenching. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Rent has become a pop cultural phenomenon with songs that rock and a story that resonates with audiences of all ages Book, Music and Lyrics by Jonathan Larson.
