Have fun and meet new friends at Hormones 4 Life fundraiser evening. After the succeess of the Ho Ho Ho-rmones for Charlie's Christmas fundraiser, we are back for another night of putting the fun back into fun-draising! This time the activities will include: A hormone replacement therapy themed quiz - with prizes Painting games - you will be in teams and painting on paper plates, this activity requires no previous art skills HRT-TAN boardgame - the Catan inspired handmade boardgame is back A raffle at the end of the night There is a bar open throughout the evening serving beautiful beers by Wiper and True, and one of their guest caterers will have a food van outside in case anyone gets hugnry. The aim of the evening is to raise enough money for a one month supply of hormones for my friend Charlie who is unemployed and unable to work for mental health reasons. Any extra profits may be used to pay for her kidney blood tests (these are a regular requirement if you are taking hormones) or electrolysis. We are going to be hosting events like this monthly to ensure she can cover all her gender affirming healthcare costs, while at the same time building a sense of community with our friends. The activities at each event will be slightly different so that you can keep coming back and always be entertained! All painting materials are provided and there is step free access to the venue. Pay what you can tickets are available for anyone who is financially struggling. The games are in teams but don't worry if you are coming by yourself - the activities are designed to make it easy for you to make new friends.
