DJ, producer, and music lover, Tahira is one of Brazil’s hardest working and highly esteemed DJs and music collectors. Whereas most diggers of Brazilian music tend to gravitate towards regional takes on American funk, disco & soul, Tahira squares in on the country's rich musical lineage as part of the greater African diaspora, with a pronounced emphasis on African rhythms.

Tahira connects the dots between the country's rich musical history, carving out an alternate trajectory for black Brazilian culture that values Afro-futurism over copycat funk/soul aesthetics.

One third of the brains behind Worm Disco Club, Jackson Worm's extensive record collection spans countless genres, continents and decades. Expect high-energy grooves as he digs deep into his crates for this Brazilian special.

Hailing from the sun-kissed shore of Ubatuba, Barzil, Tainá's uplifting selections span a wide range of Latin and World influences, including Samba, Jazz, Bossa Nova, Afro-Barzillian Grooves, and Baile Funk. A rich musical history and connection to the music she plays accumulate in sets steeped in authenticity, that traverse listeners across the globe.
