Ali Austin, originally from Mid-Wales is now based in Bristol.
For over a year she has made her mark in the Bristol music scene and beyond. She has played numerous venues such as her headline show at Bristol's Louisiana, packing out the entire venue. Ali has also supported a string of Bristol-based artists and played Sofar Sounds shows around the city, along with many more gigs throughout the South-West and even venturing into other music scenes. She released her long-awaited debut single “I Can’t Breathe” on the 1st March 2024. Following the release, she performed and was interviewed live on “Rebel On The Radio” on BCfm radio. Ali also earned herself an artist spotlight feature with Bristol 24\7. In a world hungry for genuine and emotive music, Ali Austin emerges as a refreshing and mesmerising talent in the R&B genre. With her soulful voice, introspective songwriting, and influences that range from Olivia Dean to Yebba and Lianne La Havas, she paves her path, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who listen. Describing her music as Soul, R&B Ali also has that real touch of a singer/songwriter sound. The vocals are the real drive for her music, helping to tell a story and express emotion.
