LION'S BREATH at Yogasara
Nobody turned away due to lack of funds

A event on Sunday 5th January. The event starts at 14:00.

‍️>> Are you feeling overwhelmed by the news cycle, burnt out by your lifestyle, or disempowered to channel your energy for good? <<

Join us for a heart-led, fiercely tender, and radically empowering yoga practice that explores the deep connection between personal wellbeing and the wellbeing of the world. In an increasingly fractured and overwhelming world, it’s time to move beyond yoga as a tool for individual care and embrace its potential to ripple resilience and peace across the web of life.

Grounded in self-compassion, we’ll weave together asana, pranayama, meditation, dance, dialogue, and mantra to realign, re-source, and reignite our inner strength. Together, we’ll face the challenges of empathetic burnout and a relentless news cycle by cultivating the tools to stay centred and empowered.
This practice starts with you—your body, your breath, and your presence—and expands outward like ripples in an ocean. From the personal to the political, the micro to the meta, you’ll learn to channel your inner warrior to “fight the good fight” with resilience, courage, and grace.

Step into the new year with a practice that invites you to move, connect, and transform—not just for yourself, but for the collective wellbeing of the world.

Emilita is a yoga teacher and student of Yogasara studio's 'krama vinyasa' approach which builds understanding to yoga in a step-by-step manner, allowing everyone an entry point to these transformative practices. She is trained in trauma informed approaches to movement and believes that yoga should be accessible to anyone and everyone. She is informed by the philosophy of tantrik non-dualism and infuses her offerings with a playful invitation to rediscover our deep, wild nature.
