The Wandering - Streamed Storytelling Performance at Your Sofa / Bedroom / Patio

A event on Wednesday 15th April. The event starts at 20:00.

A storytelling performance to warm hearts and stir souls during lockdown.

The Wandering

In different places across distant lands, darkness gathers. Two young souls are banished from their homes. A lake, still as the stones that guard it, sits patiently for centuries, waiting to paint reflections of their wandering across its surface...

CoResist are back with a Storytelling Sunday Special! So special they're not even waiting for Sunday! With venues closed during lockdown, this live, streamed storytelling performance is a chance to sit back in the comfort of your own home and be wooed by story and song.

Our regular host Danny Panther Eyes collaborates for the first time with Isis Wolf-Light, accompanying this new story with hang and other magical sounds. Tony Almond will be playing songs to frame the evening, as our collaboration comes to you via three different locations around Bristol through the miracle of Zoom.

The performance is by donation only, so contribute what you feel or access for free! Simply reserve your ticket here and receive a link that will guide you to us at 8pm Wednesday, 15th April 2020.

PERFORMERS:

Danny Panther Eyes: Danny is a storyteller-activist from North Wales. His work explores tales for changing times and uses story to explore our inner landscapes and evoke the call to follow our dreams.

Isis Wolf-Light: Isis is a multi-instrumentalist with a background in Ethnomusicology, specialising in tuned percussion from around the globe. She plays Hang, Mbira, Indonesian Gamelan as well as Clarinet and Piano.

Tony Almond: Tony is a songwriter and community music leader. Much loved on the Bristol Folk scene, here he is, live from his home in Montpelier, with some songs that invite reflection on these truly cataclysmic times.
