A
gig
held at Zed Alley
on Friday 1st November. The event starts at 20:00.
A ghoulish gig for all you infernal indie alt kids, Heavy for the Tropics hosts HALLOWEEN at Zed Alley, with the excellent Marble Fires and the energetic Manic Manic.
Heavy for the Tropics are a bacchanal - an alternative outfit combining sweet indiegirl meoldies, post punk guitars, and a vast array of grooves and rhythms. HFFT are as their name suggests: emoting the heaviness of modern life through thought provoking lyrics, but as if you are on holiday with music that is energetic and explorative, like raving on Bikini Atoll in stunning desolation....whilst continuously downing cough syrup.
Marble Fires bring their unique brand of indie soul, serving up hyper melodic and stylish slabs of neo-soul for your deadly disco delight that is sure to get feet grooving.
Manic Manic are an energetic electro-punk whirlwind, bringing vivacious bangers to bop and bewitch to.
No Halloween party is complete without ghostly and monstrous games, where the most most creative, ghoulish and outstanding of the costumes will win a prize for their exceptional efforts; and for those who like to vocalise how terrifying they are an opportunity to win the title of most scary sound.
