Wig in a box presents an alternative cabaret night for fans of Nick Cave.

From The Birthday party to the Bad Seeds and within his books and film scores, his works deal with themes of love, loss and longing, telling twisted tales through a punk rock lens with a Gothic edge.

This night will take you on a journey with drag, burlesque and circus performers bringing their interpretations of the work of Nick Cave, followed by an after party playing nothing but Nick Cave and Nick Cave inspired tunage into the early hours.

With the incomparable Dis e on hosting duties and the incredible cabaret sensation Joe Black headlining along with burlesque sensation Constance Peach, Longtime cult heroine of Bristol’s underground music scene Emily Breeze, Singer/songwriter and purveyor of sexy psychedelia, War Against Sleep, Bristol's king of kings Oliver Assets & the sultry, sexy queen among queers Mariana Trench. THAT'S QUITE THE LINE UP!

Accessibility:

The venue is accessible for wheelchair users although toilets are narrow so if needing to have a chair within the toilet itself the accessible toilet is upstairs in the neighbouring bar. Staff are on hand to assist.
