The Genius of David Bowie play Lodger at Zed Alley
£5.50 advance from Bristol Tickets & Ents24

A gig held at Zed Alley on Friday 24th May. The event starts at 19:30.

First 45-minute set is dedicated to playing the whole album Lodger in track order. The album, Bowie’s 13th studio and the last of the so called ‘Berlin trilogy, was not, by his standards, a major commercial success. Indifferently received by critics on its initial release, it is now widely considered to be among Bowie's most underrated albums. Although grouped with Low and Heroes as a Berlin album it was actually recorded in Switzerland and New York. Several of the songs were not performed live by Bowie so this is a rare opportunity to hear them performed.

The second set will be drawn from Bowie’s most popular songs with an emphasis on an up-tempo danceable finale.
