Vonj is a self taught musician born in Kenya & currently active in the UK. Song writing is his passion. He has endeavoured in a variety of musical projects working as an independent artist, producer & session player.

After Vonj released his 4th album ‘Ruach’, he began working on a new band project.

The band line up consists of Vonj on guitar & vocals, David Farrell on drums, Jorge Fundo on bass, Djo Carpentier on Sax & Alex Alderson on keyboards. Together they create an electric groove driven sound, fusing together a variety of original musical elements.

We are The Sunshine Blues Band a blues/rock'n'roll trio consisting of a drummer/singer, a guitarist and bassist, based in Bristol, UK! With a background of blues music, rock'n'roll and 60s psychedelic rock, we create what we believe is something natural and authentic sounding that we hope everybody from all walks of life can get a little something from!
Our debut single 'Better with Love', recently released on all platforms, encompasses our values of freedom and optimism which we aim to bring to everything we do! Peace.
