OPENING ACT- SIMON EMANUEL
Sadly MATT REES can no longer make it.
Simon Emanuel, the vibrant Welsh stand-up comic, TV presenter, and radio personality, has been captivating audiences across the UK and Europe since he burst onto the comedy scene in 2008. With a career marked by infectious energy, quick-witted banter, and a penchant for far-flung observations delivered through abstract punchlines, Simon has solidified his position among the comedy circuit’s elite.
Simon’s foray into television began in 2016 when he started writing and presenting for the Sky channel “Made in Cardiff.” Collaborating with fellow comic Ignacio Lopez, they worked on various programs, including the weekly show “Bad Press,” the entertainment show “The Lowdown,” and the live comedy show “Live at the Glee.”
The year 2017 marked a significant milestone as Simon was selected as support for Tom Green’s European tour at the Glee Club Cardiff. Since January 2018, he has been a prominent writer and star of BBC Sesh’s online content, showcasing his comedic brilliance in the digital realm.
In 2020, Simon reached another pinnacle in his career, making his TV stand-up debut with the BBC’s “Stand up for Sesh.” With a career that continues to ascend, Simon Emanuel remains a comedic force to be reckoned with, leaving audiences in stitches and earning accolades for his unique and uproarious brand of humour.
