Bristol Women's Voice has been hosting FREE talks by inspiring women in your area.
Sian is a Bristol-based freelance journalist and writer specialising in human rights. Her work has appeared in the Observer, the Guardian, the i, the New Statesman, openDemocracy, and Byline Times. Sian's book Bodies Under Siege: How the far right attack on reproductive rights went global was published by Verso in June 2023. She was the founder of the Bristol Women's Literature Festival.
Sian will talk about her work and background, with the opportunity for a Q&A at the end.
This talk will therefore be an opportunity to:
- Learn about pathways into freelance journalism and book publishing, whilst networking with Sian within an intimate setting.
