Learn how to make a simple beeswax candle and candle holder out of air-drying clay in this week’s creative workshop. Experiment with different rolling techniques with the candle and decorative patterns for the holder.
The first hour will be learning how to make a traditional beeswax candle and the second hour we will be making a candle holder out of air-drying clay which you will be able to take home and paint once it has dried.
These weekly sessions are a fun, safe space for beginners to experiment, play and explore creative outlets through painting, collage, journaling, crafts and drawing.
This workshop series aims to give people the opportunity to learn new creative techniques and to allow people to find new modes of creative expression to aid emotional regulation and wellbeing. All abilities are welcome and you don’t need any prior experience.
Materials are provided, please book your place to allow for the preparation of materials.
