OUR ETHOS
Come Bye was founded on the premise of creating a space where individuals can share their talents, interests and passions.
Unlike a traditional festival where you turn up and spectate; at Come Bye you’re invited to be an active participant and get involved in any way you want. The festival is built on contributions and each year is unique as the programme depends on you, the attendees and what you decide to bring.
There is absolutely no obligation to bring or do anything, it’s totally up to you. Rather you're invited to get as involved as you please.
Have you ever wanted to be part of a festival?
Got an idea but never had the opportunity to do it?
Have a skill that would benefit others?
Well now’s your chance!
We'll do our best to facilitate anything you want to do, you just need to tell us what it is.

GIFTING
If you’d like to contribute something but you’re unsure what to do then we invite you to bring something to gift to new friends you’re going to make. This could be anything, a cocktail, some cake, a sticker, a tango lesson???
If you have ever given a gift to someone you will know how nice the feeling is to give and not expect anything in return. That is a key part of gifting at Come Bye, gift whatever you want, when you want and expect nothing in return.
Again, gifting is not compulsory, it is totally up to you, no one is going to ask you what you’re doing when you arrive and nothing is expected of you other than being nice.
So please don’t feel pressure to come up with something to contribute or bring. Just by getting involved in someone’s workshop, watching someone’s show or dancing to someone’s music you are gifting them your presence which is the most important thing of all.

GETTING TO THE FESTIVAL
The festival takes place on a beautiful farm outside of Abergavenny, Wales. 1hrs drive from Bristol.
Full address and travel details will be sent to ticket holders closer to the festival.

CAMPING
We have a lovely campsite for you to pitch up in. If you’re bringing a tent, please take it away with you at the end of the festival, then you can use it again next summer!
Please remember a torch or head torch as lighting in the campsite is limited.

KEEPING THE FARM BEAUTIFUL
- Our home is a working farm, please respect that they are kindly letting us use their wonderful land and respect the farm for the duration of your stay, this means:
- Leave No Trace: Put all rubbish in the bins provided and please take away any rubbish from your campsite when you leave.
- Stay Safe: Please don't go in any of the pools, don't pester the sheep or any other animals and stay inside the festival area, keeping to the lit areas at night.
- Respect the Neighbours: The farm has neighbours just like anywhere else, please be considerate as you arrive/leave. If you can stay within the festival site that helps keep people on side. They're still getting used to having lots of young beautiful faces running around.

FOOD
We have hand picked a scrumptious selection of traders for you to choose from on the farm catering for veggies and vegans as much as meat eaters. Please bring cash if you would like to enjoy the delicious grub on offer!

ALCOHOL
Our bars offer beer, cider and mixers for very reasonable prices which you can enjoy in your mug. You’re welcome to bring your own alcohol if you wish, but there is no glass on site and you must decant any liquids into a plastic bottle and take all your plastic home with you.
