Romare at Bristol Beacon

A gig held at Bristol Beacon on Thursday 12th November. The event starts at 20:00.

Romare, the acclaimed project of producer Archie Fairhurst, brings his richly layered live show in support of his forthcoming album, Oblivion.

Inspired by the collage techniques of artist Romare Bearden, Fairhurst blends found sounds, live instrumentation and global musical influences into immersive electronic music that is as thoughtful as it is danceable. Across his career, he has continually evolved his sound, weaving together house, jazz, broken beat, ambient textures and off-centre electronica with meticulous craftsmanship.

Performing live, Fairhurst reshapes his music in the moment, creating dynamic, groove-driven sets that blur the line between club culture and live performance while offering a first glimpse of the new world of Oblivion.
