Clowning chaos. Punk poetry mayhem. Circus insanity and Stand-up galore.
From hare-brained idea to sell-out shows at The Mount Without, Loco Klub and The Island, to giving a platform to over 100 upcoming artists and rocking stages across the UK festival circuit, our first year in action has been a truly wild ride.
To celebrate, we’re pulling out all the stops to bring you a night of unforgettable cabaret madness, showcasing an allstar cast of artists who’ve made our event what it is today.

Headlining our bash, we have two heavyweight fresh forces in Punk Poetry poised to set our stage alight with exclusive high-octane performances to launch their new books.

Headliner of our first event, firm RIOT ACT crowd favourite and fast ascending cult verse hero Redeeming Features returns to set our mic on fire with characteristic electrifying comic verse flair.
Fresh from conquering the stage at a sold-out 5000 capacity gig at the legendary Brixton Academy supporting Punk heroes Soft Play (not to mention two crowd-favourite international tours to the US and South East Asia), come and see one of the most exciting, distinctive and entertaining creative voices on the scene today, as he launches his outrageous second collection of scurrilous verse gems Sex Injuries.

RIOT ACT legend, revered microphone menace and hero of the London poetry scene, Cosmic Cockney Rhymer Colin B Osborn tops our bill with baroque comic rhyming flair. A kerbside sage with an outrageous gift for rhyme, prepare to be wowed by the tongue-twisting philosophical musings on the everyday smut of South London living that have cemented his underground verse hero status. Sharp, surreal and hilarious, join us as Osborn launches his debut collection of bawdy ballads, I Choose the Rhymes.

Joining forces to make our birthday bash a night to remember, we have an allstar cast of creative champions who are each a pillar of respective scene in Bristol.

Bristolian stand up heroes Lynsey Smart, Otis Jones, Stephen Bisland, Lloyd Lewis and Gaz Lawrence

Local Cabaret Legends, Chaos Magnets and Queens of The Unexpected par excellence, Grainne Young-Monaghan and Miss Bea Blade

Punk poetry hellraisers Charis Owen and Samatar Elmi

A whole legion of open mic performers (sign up at 7pm prompt OTD for a 3min slot; all performance styles welcome)

And RIOT ACT Instigator Sam Riot raises his tin of Thatchers to host a landmark night of outrageous high-octane fun, with any number of wildcard birthday bash surprises up his sleeves.
