Adult Portrait Club at Arnolfini
See event details

A event held at Arnolfini on Sunday 25th August. The event starts at 17:00.

Spend a relaxed Sunday afternoon in the galleries drawing faces and meeting new people. Portrait club welcomes everyone, even those that say they can't draw! Complete beginners are welcome and all materials and drawing boards will be provided. Free tickets are available for anyone who feels they need one, documents will not be required.

Artist, Giuliana Terran is the founder of Bristol Portrait Club and will give you a friendly welcome and get you started but the sessions are very informal and won't be tutored. Volunteer sitters will be changing every 15 minutes.

Giuliana Terran is an artist fascinated by the human form and teaches figure drawing in Bristol.

Drop in between 2-5pm
sessions will take place in the main gallery on the first floor except on the 23rd June where it will take place in the Reading room on the second floor.

All materials are provided for but if you would like to bring your own drawing materials they must be dry and powder free. So no charcoal or pastels I'm afraid.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions (under 18s to be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs, 1:1 ratio)
