"The choir finished their last tune. The room fell silent for a second before bursting into rapturous applause and a standing ovation. Heartwood Chorus is brilliant and uplifting – a magnificent way to spend an evening - Bristol Gig Guide

This performance is INDOORS, and takes place in the Anglican Chapel witching the grounds of Arnos Vale Cemetery.

Atmospheric unaccompanied harmony singing in the beautiful acoustic of the Anglican chapel. These will be intimate, indoor shows with limited capacity, and you're encouraged to get tickets early.

Heartwood Chorus sing original, spellbinding arrangements of songs whose murky origins stretch back centuries. As well as keeping alive the folk music of past tradition, they also perform versions of modern classics of the vibrant contemporary folk scene.

Refreshments available - Arnos Vale's Atrium Cafe will be open from 10-4pm (situated in the glass pavilion adjacent to the Spielman Centre).

The performance will be indoors, in the Anglican Chapel. Originally built in 1839 the Anglican Chapel is a Grade II listed building, which has been restored to its former glory and is now a magnificent event space.

The cemetery is beautiful, and allowing some extra time before or after the concert for a walk around is recommended. Its website invites you to "step into a secret world and discover a unique heritage site in the heart of Bristol, as you enter 45 green acres of spectacular Victorian Garden Cemetery... Find out more about the history of the city, told in a leafy and tranquil setting , rich in architecture, fascinating trails and nature walks."
