Around About Dusk + Nuala Honan 

For this special performance, the band will be joined by seven additional musicians, bringing the rich arrangements of their debut album, Sweet Old Fables, to the stage on a larger scale. This is a rare opportunity to hear Around About Dusk with the full breadth and musical detail of the record.

The evening will also feature a set from Bristol singer-songwriter Nuala Honan, an outstanding songwriter, charming (and a bit grumpy) with a rare knack for talking to audiences, and a voice that will smack you round the ears.

Released in March 2026, Sweet Old Fables has received support from BBC 6 Music, Fresh on the Net and BBC Introducing South West, following a 22-date spring tour and festival appearances across the UK and Ireland including Glastonbury, Fire in the Mountain and Cambridge Folk Festival.

Expect crooked folk tales, old jazz, chanson, swampy rhythms, strange creatures and plenty of brass — all performed live by a band that doesn't fit neatly into one box.

This is a one-off expanded hometown show, so come and hear Sweet Old Fables in its fullest live form.
