LINE UP:
SYLLA - Bristol's coldest MC. Shelling over everything from Drill to Grime to Hip Hop, the East St repper has been on a warpath this year. Dropping tunes with some of the city's greats including Sir Hiss and Jay 0117, murking countless sets alongside the likes of Jafro, Marcus Nasty and Slowie, as well as getting regular plays on Radio 1 and 1Xtra, this young man's rise to the top is inevitable.
YUNG TORO - A true maverick. This producer/ rapper/ clothing designer/ all-round-madman has a style all of his own. Blending trippy beats with an unpredictable delivery and impeccable sense of rhythm, Toro's wonky, groovy bangers have had us two-stepping wildly around the Bristol vicinity.
FABIEN DARCY - The feel-good father. After blowing us away with a headline set at Live At Lydiard last summer, this event marks Mr Darcy's highly anticipated return to the stage. As the most soulful MC around - there's no one else we'd want to encapsulate the spirit of the season for our Summertime party.
GABRIEL WAVES - Soundcloud OG & Bristol's best Brummie. After years of warping and bending genres as a rapper and singer, the Waves has made good use of Lockdown and also honed his skills as a beatmaker. With a string of releases this year blurring the lines between Lofi, Grime and Garage - his unique storytelling and artistic vision have never been so in focus.
FESSOR - Drawing inspiration from diverse influences in Indie, R&B, Pop and Rap - this singer/songwriter has developed a unique sound. Crooning profound, heartfelt lyrics over guitar-tinged, melodic Trap beats and displaying a powerful vocal range, Fessor is a truly homegrown Bristol phenomenon.
ALAMAY - With a style drawing from her early immersion in soul and jazz music, as well as her Ethiopian heritage, Alamay is bringing a refreshing take on modern R&B/soul. First entering the scene in 2019 with her collaborative project with Omar Cassius titled "Aurora", we're very excited for Alamay to grace the Art Club stage.
SERTEE - FL Studio wizard. Swansea's most tekky producer will be joining us to present a set of brain-smacking Drill, Grime and 140+. Going B2B with some of the scene's very best, including a Rinse FM set with legend DJ Oblig, and being behind some of the year's hardest projects, has more than solidified Sertee as a young boss in the UK scene.
KASHTIDES - A formidable force in Bristol's open mic scene, this Midlands born spitter came into the year strong with his single "Wrong Side" - a jazz-laced Drill jam with a powerful message. Currently working on his debut project - Kashtides' set will be a glimpse into the mind of one of the most exciting creatives to touch mic in 2022.
