Imbolc Singing Walk with Julia Turner and Rachael Dadd at Ashton Court
See event details

A event held at Ashton Court on Sunday 1st February. The event starts at 14:00.

Join Julia Turner and Rachael Dadd for immersive singing walks through the seasons among the ancient oaks, park lands and bluebell woods of Ashton Court. Learn simple seasonal songs by ear to sing together as we walk, designed to nourish us for whatever point we are at in the year. Come together to mark solstices, equinoxes and the mid points between them, fostering a deeper connection to all that is the non human world as we turn through the seasons.

The theme of our Imbolc walk is acknowledging the very first stirrings of spring inside ourselves. We will also be nestling into the hibernation for a little longer, willing plenty of rest ahead of spring bursting forth. Let's meet for meditative walking, singing and just being, held in the splendour of Ashton Court as the snowdrops and crocuses start to emerge around us.

All voices welcome. Suitable for babes in arms and children who can walk a mile (recommended 7+).
Meet by Ashton Court Manor. See map https://what3words.com/mount.makes.full
