On Sunday 14th July join us for a celebration of the best female DJ talent from Bristol and beyond, with our very special all-female day party. Hosted by Lys DarkGyal we’ll be bringing you a day of the best in Reggae, Roots, Dub, Dancehall and DnB.

Starting at 4pm and running until 10pm, the line up for the day features:

Queen of Pressure

Queen of Pressure has been collecting and selecting vinyl since her teens and plays an eclectic mix of roots, rocksteady, steppas, dancehall and digi dub; Enthusiast of all things colourful, Queen of Pressure packs a full bag of reggae niceness. Expect a warm and vibrant selection of soul heavy dubwise heaven.

QoP has been a regular at Glastonbury on the Nomad Stage and Platform 23 in Shangri-La and the Tangled Roots at Boomtown. She hosts a resident night at Bristol’s iconic music haven The Plough and regularly guests at Cosies, The Star and Garter, Lost Horizon and The Jam Jar where she has supported acts like Holly Cook and Omega Nebula. Catch her this year at the last ever Shindig, Glastonbury and Fire in the Mountain to name but a few.


DJ Queen Bee

Since the late 80’s Queen Bee has been an integral part of the Bristol massive scene. With a genre jumping range from reggae, afro beat and House to Drum & Bass and Dancehall Queen Bee has been smashing it up long time at the seasons biggest festivals including Shambala, Shin Dig, Mucky Weekender, Womad &Glastonbury.

Queen Bee has been holding her own and carving it up with her old skool vinyl mash up for decades and while her sound has developed, she remains true to her funk and reggae roots. You can expect to lose yourself with this genre hopping Queen in a wonderland of grooves as you get on down and boogie with her amazing beats.

DJ Dazee

Dj, Producer, Label Owner, Broadcaster and Original Jungle Pioneer, Dazee brings her wealth of experience plus a big charge of energy to the dancefloor. Her style is a bouncy mix of jungle rollers and steppers with a peppering of jump up and classic vibes : the sound that is synonymous with her label, Ruffneck Ting records.

Dazee’s long time passion for her music is evident and she continues into the future as resident for Ruffneck Ting and Run world wide. Events such as Love Saves The Day, Jungle Jam, Shambala, Glastonbury, Hospitality and Hotcakes Live Streams have continued to take the Dj Dazee/Ruffneck Ting sound to an ever-wider audience. With a heavy schedule of Ruffneck Ting releases set for 2024/2025, production and label management keeps her busy when she’s not behind the decks. On top of this, Dazee enjoys passing on her musical experience in her Lead Lecturer role at Bimm University, as well as Ruffneck Ting Academy mentoring projects, helping aspiring artists progress in the scene.
