A clubnight held at Basement 45 on Friday 31st July. The event starts at 22:00.
After 3 years and 12 parties, Bristol's resident oldskool hardcore specialists are back on their quest to spread the euphoric 90s sound! Familiar faces are joined by exciting newcoming acts, all working together to take you on a journey back in time to the golden age of raving - this is a night about one thing: the music.
DJ Them: Resident DJ and Safe As F*ck founder, Theo will be kicking off the night with a two hour odyssey through the genesis of UK rave. From acid house to breakbeat hardcore and beyond, expect no stone left unturned, and some surprises at the end!
Interlude: Taking over the decks at midnight are everyone's favourite team of turntablists - returning to Safe As F*ck for the first time since 2023, since then they've played sets at every oldskool party worth it's salt around the country. The minds behind the infamous Elysium event series will be digging through their collection to deliver us a splintering set of hardcore junglism, arife with deep cuts and white labels.
Sierpinski: One half of the elusive 'Frisbee Aerobics', Sierpinski will be championing that energy on the headline slot, bringing the signature infectious happy hardcore sound to Basement 45 for the first time! Having recently shut down Ground Rules festival with intricate amens, high-velocity vocals and unmistakeable turbocharged rave stabs, their productions couldn't be a better fit!
Mizdameaner: With residencies for Notorious Steppaz, Chrome Plaza, and Militant Music, wax selector Mizdameaner will be closing out this sensational lineup. Known for her mastery of the darkside sound, she'll be rounding off the night in style with her stompiest plates - big tekno slammers inbound!
If any of that sounds up your street, do us a favour and grab a ticket in advance; it's the best way to support grassroots events and save some money! The event is 18+ with valid photo ID required for admission.
