Since last year’s party with the Pilotwings we have been eager to return to Basement 45, and after a long-standing residency on Noods Radio and the odd jaunt at the Surrey Vaults (RIP) we’re excited to be throwing our first party as Escalator To Nowhere with BFDM's OKO DJ.
OKO DJ aka Marine Tordjmann heads up the Paris branch of LYL Radio where she plays a variety of weird and wonderful music on her monthly “strictly feminine” show Pu$y Nightmare. In 2017 she played across Europe for the Brothers From Different Mothers and Bruits De La Passion crews and her upwards trajectory has continued into this year; she’ll be playing records at Dekmantel in the summer. We can’t wait to hear what she pulls out for us, especially on Basement’s new Funktion One soundsystem!

Those of you who were there for the Pilotwings last year will know the drill: Tim will be setting the scene and loosening the screws before OKO takes the reins until the lights come on.
