Following our sold out event with Lijah and Just Be, we’re back for another seated night at Basement with another huge lineup! This time round we’re showcasing Bristol’s UK Bass and Garage scene in Room 1, alongside our usual sounds of the freshest up and coming Drum & Bass in Room 2. As always the capacity for these events is super limited so don’t sleep on copping a table x
Hoda
Headlining the night is UK Bass heavyweight Hoda, who joins us following numerous releases on labels such as Crucast and Night Bass over the past year. He’ll be providing an hour of his unique hybrid sound, drawing from genres such as UKG, Bassline, and Bass House.
Paladin
After starting out in the scene with a series of Bassline releases, Paladin has since diversified his sound and moved to a bouncier multi-genre style of production; incorporating influences from new school UKG, deep dubstep, and hip hop. With his bootleg’s of ‘Lemonade’ and ‘WAP’ blowing up online and a load of new music on the way, Paladin is definitely a name to watch out for.
Dubruvvas
Made up of two brothers J.Wiz and Lzee, the Drum & Bass duo Dubruvvas specialise in the darker side of the genre with deep rolling basslines and punchy percussive drums. Following their huge mix for our second season of Duckland Weekly we’ll be bringing them down to headline room 2 with a set you’ll be silly to miss.
Rez
Despite only moving to Bristol last year, Rez has quickly made a name for himself within the city with his aggressive yet bouncy DnB productions. With his drill bootleg ‘Redrum Reverse’ currently holding the top spot on Invicta Audio’s Soundcloud and forthcoming releases on Kingpin and Too Ill, it’s clear Rez won’t be going away anytime soon.
