A gig on Saturday 16th October. The event starts at 21:00.

Leo Morshead is a an English singer, songwriter, guitarist, and music tutor. After playing and recording as Leo James for fifteen years, Leo reverted back to his family name of Morshead in 2020. Drawing influence from past and present musicians from both sides of the Atlantic, Leo has followed his passion for Acoustic Blues, Roots, Americana and Folk, and has received tutelage from some notable players along the way. Leo’s music has been described as a soulful mix of warm husky vocals, intricate finger style guitar and shimmering slide guitar work accompanying skilfully written songs, and tasteful arrangements of traditional material. Leo has spent many years teaching guitar and performing live throughout the UK’s festival, pub and folk club scene, both in ensembles, and as a solo performer, and he is just as happy playing on the big stage as he is in the corner of a crowded pub. Radiant songs, elaborate finger picking and scintillating lap steel guitar from an accomplished singer songwriter – Folk Words An accomplished lap steel slide guitarist who’s songs reflect an Appalachian / Blues / Bluegrass feel - UK Folk Music ‘High Times and Bad Weather’ is an excellent recording by a very talented performer – UK Folk Music Follow Leo on twitter @leo_leomorshead https://www.facebook.com/leo.james.5437
