An Afternoon Of Dilla 2026

An Afternoon of Dilla returns to Bristol on Saturday 21 November, presented by Bristol-based producer Vice beats in collaboration with Official Ma Dukes.

Created with the blessing and involvement of J Dilla’s family, the event brings together artists, musicians, DJs and fans to celebrate his life, music and lasting influence. Expect live performances, beat sets, carefully selected DJ sets and original interpretations inspired by Dilla’s remarkable body of work.

More than a traditional tribute, An Afternoon of Dilla explores how his creativity continues to shape new music, spark collaboration and inspire generations of artists around the world. Previous events have brought together communities in Bristol, London and Groningen, raising money for the James Dewitt Yancey Foundation.

The full Bristol line-up will be announced in October.
