See event details

A event on Thursday 25th November. The event starts at 19:00.

For those aged 18 - 23

Over the past year or two we have seen the world change dramatically. How we choose to document these times is vitally important.

In this workshop Colin will introduce new techniques to help you with your practice. Where to find the best light, learn about composition and find confidence in yourself as a photographer.

The workshop will give you a chance to grow your confidence and develop skills needed to tell the stories you care about.

Explore what it is you are passionate about and turn that into a practice of taking images to tell a story.

You will be equipped with all the skills needed to explore the streets.

All you need is a smartphone and or a camera.

Colin Moody and his camera are well known figures in Bristol, photographing for cultural events all over the city. He is a determined and tireless campaigner for a recognition of the culture of Bristol in all its forms.
