A Year to Change Your Mind launch with Lucy Maddox at Bookhaus

A event held at Bookhaus on Wednesday 11th January. The event starts at 18:00.

For our first event of the year we thought it would be good to start with a book that will help to set you up on the right track! In A YEAR TO CHANGE YOUR MIND, consultant clinical psychologist Dr Lucy Maddox explains how psychological processes thread through our lives. She pinpoints issues common to each month, and shares evidence-based ideas from the therapy room which the realm of psychology help us to reflect on our own experiences, both joyful and painful, and learn to live a more thoughtful, positive life.

There’s a lot of pressure in January to decide things, make changes and stick to them (New Year, New You!) but less practical aid in how to do this. Life can be tricky and it’s good to have some tools to help. What better way to kick off the year than by considering ideas from psychological therapy which can be useful? Tickets are £5, which includes a glass of wine or a soft drink and £2 off the book.
