Come and join Angus D. Birditt for a book launch and tasting for A Portrait of British Cheese. The book celebrates the excellence of artisan and farmhouse cheese in the British Isles, expressing it as a product of the land, its animals, and its people, offering a snapshot of rural life, artisan traditions and delicious dishes. Angus D. Birditt is a writer, photographer, poet, award-winning food producer and founder of Our Isles. Angus is an advocate for the rural environment, celebrating and encouraging its appreciation through his various works.

As Angus discusses his book and his overview of British cheese we will be serving a selection of cheeses from The Bristol Cheesemonger; a specialist cheesemongers focusing on local, seasonal British cheeses, which will be paired with two glasses of wine from Corks.*

Tickets for the tasting and a copy of the book are £42, or £20 for the tasting without the book included.
