Community, Climate & Good Craic

Community, Climate & Good Craic at Bridge Farm Community

An event on Monday 2nd November. The event starts at 18:30.

"To be alive in this beautiful, self-organizing universe--to participate in the dance of life with senses to perceive it, lungs that breathe it, organs that draw nourishment from it--is a wonder beyond words" Joanna Macy.

There is truth in the turbulence of this very moment, we exist in a polycrisis that is affecting both the natural world and our human nature. Living in the anthropocene can paint a disconnected, extraction-obsessed planet. However, this is not unanimously true to our instinct as earthlings, guardians and carers of the living world around us. Often all we need to do is to press pause, breathe and look inwards before we extend the olive branch outwards.

** These sessions are designed to allow people to safely face rather than flee the feels of this moment. Be that eco anxiety, solastalgia or perhaps a sense of kinship, optimism and a 'path through the frenzy'.

These sessions will incorporate:

- Guided breathwork that seeks to autonomously explore our sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system.

- Deep & Erotic-Ecology inspired visualizations, spoken word and group discussions, open sharing.

- Hand pan sound bath

-Beginners Qigong/Tai Chi movement mindfulness sequences.

If the above resonated with you, you happen to have some free time on Monday evenings and you are seeking a nourishing space and community. Feel free to hop along! (Oh and bring your curiosity caps).

We look forward to meeting you at the farm :)

Big love,

Immie & Connor x
