Leonie Evans at Bristol Beacon Foyer
See event details

A gig held at Bristol Beacon Foyer on Thursday 22nd July. The event starts at 18:30.

Bristol Beacon and Bristol Jazz and Blues Festival are proud to present the welcome return of jazz to the Bristol Beacon foyer, with the aptly-named The Tonic Sessions – a celebration of women in music.

In February, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Leonie Evans takes to the stage alongside special guests Adam Beattie on guitars and Johnny Bruce on Trumpet, to deliver her unique blend of jazz, blues, country and gospel music.

“Jazz and Folk flirt en route to New Orleans via Canterbury” (Prog Magazine) – Evans has travelled across the world and learnt her craft from the best. Musician, radio presenter and blues aficionado Cerys Matthews is a fan – “I was just blown away with her,” she gushes.

This is a seated, socially distanced show Bristol Beacon Foyer, Trenchard St, Bristol BS1 5AR
