Happy Mondays crashed out of Salford in the 1980s and rewired British music forever.

Fusing funk, acid house and indie swagger, Shaun Ryder, Bez and co. became the unruly heart of the Madchester scene – their hedonistic energy immortalised in classics like Step On, Kinky Afro and the platinum-selling Pills ’n’ Thrills and Bellyaches.

From underground clubs to festival main stages, they’ve stayed one of the UK’s most influential and unpredictable live acts, their groove-heavy sound still as infectious as ever.

Now, with Shaun Ryder leading the charge, Happy Mondays return to the stage – older, louder, and as gloriously chaotic as the day they began.
