Benjamin Clementine at Colston Hall
£22.50 incl. booking fee

A gig held at Bristol Beacon on Friday 8th December. The event starts at 19:30pm.

Singing from the gut, with raw and heart-breaking honesty, Benjamin Clementine has ignited the music world with his “intoxicating torch songs of estrangement and passion.” (Mojo). His debut album, At Least For Now, was named 2015 Mercury Prize Album of the Year and was described as “remarkable, beyond-categorisation” (Sunday Times) and “a masterpiece” (Independent On Sunday).

His bewitching voice – “an antidote to a mediocrity” (Noisey) – has been likened to the talents of Antony Hegarty, Nat King Cole, Edith Piath and Nina Simone. His latest track Phantom of Aleppoville was written, recorded and produced by Clementine and follows his recent collaboration with Gorillaz on Hallelujah Money.
