New Generation Takeover is back! Yes, the keys to Colston Hall have been handed over to a group of teenagers for a whole 24 hours, and this year, as well a loads of festivities throughout the day there will be special headline performances from Hadouken and the Qemists.

HADOUKEN

We're excited to announce that following their extensive amount of summer festival dates, Hadouken will be headlining this year's NGT. The band have right...fully earned a reputation as a live act not to be missed after an intense run of major festival appearances over the summer; including Radio 1's Big Weekend, Carling Reading and Leeds, Underage and Relentless NASS. They destroyed the UK as they joined forces with drum and bass giants Pendulum as the main support on their last UK arena tour in December.

THEQEMISTS

The Qemists are, in many ways, something of a conundrum. They're rock kids seduced by the dancefloor, dance kids equally happy playing live instruments or building tracks on the computer, drum and bass aficionados who believe their hurtling breakbeats sound best under muscular metallic riffs. Their debut album, 2009's Join The Q, juggled junglist metal monsters like Stompbox and gonzoid techno throbbers like S.W.A.G., and wall-shaking dancehall boomers like Dem Na Like Me with a diverse guest-list including ex-Faith No More frontman Mike Patton, Grime legend Wiley and Drum & Bass chanteuse Jenna G.

On paper, such a soundclash seems like a trainwreck in the making. However, pumped as loud as your hi-fi will allow, or booming through the PA at one of their live shows, the Qemists make glorious sense.

With support from THE HIT UPS

Trailing drenched crowds and bruised mucles in their wake, The Hit Ups have been making earthquakes in venues around the UK for the last few years.

Gaining infamy for their fully charged, raucous gigs, the Bristol/London based five piece's own brand of party soaked electro-rock'n' roll is turning heads.

Having recently supported the likes of We Are Scientists, Hurts, N-Type, Naked & Famous, and Ed Sherran, you need to check them out.
