With half a million sales of their debut album globally now under their belt, Nathaniel Rateliff and his wall rattling, 7 piece soul band The Night Sweats retune to the UK this Autumn taking in nine major venues in cities across the country, including London’s Brixton Academy on 15th November. The meteoric rise of the Night Sweats has seen them go from playing their first London show at 200 capacity venue The Lexington, to the 5000 capacity Brixton Academy in under 18 months.
Current single, ‘I Need Never Get Old’, described as ‘impossibly glorious’ by the Guardian is currently playlisted on both BBC Radio 2 and Radio X. The track received its US TV debut last week when the band returned to Late Night With Jimmy Fallon for a showstopping performance with The Roots.
2015 has been an incredible year for Nathaniel and The Night Sweats, their first performance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon caused an unprecedented reaction with the album storming into the iTunes US Top 10 and since then they’ve been touring constantly, selling out and upgrading venues all over the world. Hit single ‘S.O.B’ is now sitting at a staggering 12 million views on You Tube and 17 million streams on Spotify.
