Join Ujima Radio in celebrating 15 years of broadcasting, meet the Ujima family and enjoy the incredible line up of performers and the Ujima Radio Showcase featuring some of the stellar DJ’s & MC’s featured on station, 24hrs a day, 365 days a year.

Ujima is one of the 7 principles of Kwanzaa and is the Swahili word for “collective responsibility” and that is at the very core of what Ujima Radio does, as a volunteer led, non profit community radio station, their mission is to provide a platform and give a voice to the voiceless. Each year Ujima Radio supports over 150 volunteers, amplifying the voices of individuals, groups and issues that may otherwise go unheard.

For their 15th anniversary party, Ujima Radio are proud to present an incredible line up of specialist music DJ’s which includes Mercury Prize winners, pioneers of new music & trailblazers of the Bristol Sound.
