gig
held at Bristol Beacon
on New Years Eve. The event starts at 20:00.
Colston Hall presents it's third New Year shindig, and this time it's going to be a riot of sound and colour as we take revellers into 2016.
Gilles Peterson favourites Submotion Orchestra lead the evening's festivities with their mesmeric and hypnotic sub-driven sound, which will send Colston Hall throbbing into the early hours of the New Year. With their raucous fusion of soul, jazz, reggae, electronica and dubstep, theirs is a sound that defies easy categorisation, but one thing's for sure, it's a mighty mix fit for the last party of the year.
After their sold out show in The Lantern in January, Ibibio Sound Machine have taken the UK by storm with their unique party music, lighting up the festival circuit with their mash-up of high life, disco, psychedelia and electro-soul, and reaffirming their growing reputation for being one of the most exciting live acts around. We're thrilled that they're back!
Recently announced, Bristol favourite Mr Benn brings his live set showcasing his own productions with live vocals from rising stars Eva Lazarus and Gardna. After bringing some serious vibes to some of the biggest festivals in the summer, the crew are poised and ready to bring the fire into 2016.
