A gig held at Bristol Beacon on Thursday 5th May. The event starts at 19:30.

Bristol Sober Spaces is a bold new innovation in big nights out! It's our mission to provide alcohol and drug free quality music experiences to anyone who is tired of the hedonistic cliches of going to a gig or club.

Whether you've chosen a sober life, are in recovery, don’t drink for cultural or religious reasons, or you're simply not fussed if there’s alcohol on sale, then Sober Spaces is here for you. We aim to provide top bands and DJ's in fantastic venues across Bristol all at a pocket pleasing price and completely hangover free.

We are over the moon to announce our secret headliner is No Go Stop! Driving percussion, ancestral funk and heady improvisations are at the heart of No Go Stop’s sound. Featuring Marie Lister’s powerful vocal, the Bristol powerhouse features musicians who perform with artists such as Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Orchestra, Jazz Defenders, Dundundun, The Heavy, Sheelanagig, and Pete Josef.
“The Bristol band have a real feel for what Fela Kuti and Tony Allen created 40 years ago...No Go Stop sound like real contenders for the contemporary Afrobeat crown.” – Songlines

Enigmatic pop obsessives Snails are a 6-piece from Bristol, filtering the influence of mavericks such as Syd Barrett and Ray Davies through a deft lyricism and craftsmanship all their own. Songwriter Dan Weltman studied film music composition and draws widely from folk, classical and outsider pop.
