Skinshape at Bristol Beacon

A gig held at Bristol Beacon on Wednesday 13th May. The event starts at 20:00.

Tickets are available through Bristol Beacon

Skinshape – the studio project of British musician and producer William Dorey – brings his rich, retro-infused sound to Lantern Hall in May 2026.

Drawing on 1960s–70s funk, reggae, library music, psychedelic rock and global influences, Skinshape creates warm, atmospheric grooves shaped by a deep love of vintage recording and timeless songwriting.

Once a founding member of the band Palace, Dorey has continued to evolve his craft through Skinshape and his reggae label Horus Records. For this special live show, a five-piece band brings his catalogue to life, blending new material with fan favourites.

Expect hypnotic rhythms, earthy melodies and an effortlessly soulful performance that highlights Skinshape’s unique ability to make the old feel strikingly new.
