Eliza Carthy, Richard Hawley, Marry Waterson, Norma Waterson,
Olly Waterson and others celebrate the life and work of Lal and Mike
Waterson. Their great'lost' album, Bright Phoebus, was released in
1972 and its collection of ballads of life, love and longing is
considered to be one of the finest achievements of the British folk
revival. Hear songs from the album performed live for the first time
alongside previously unreleased work by the Watersons. The
concert is directed by composer and multi-instrumentalist Kate St
John.
