Josh Rouse brings his warm, observant songwriting to Bristol Beacon, drawing on more than two decades of music shaped by folk, roots rock and classic pop.

His new album, Museums and Women, finds him turning fleeting encounters, characters and moments from life on the road into tender, cinematic songs full of quiet humour, romance and longing.

Recorded in Nashville with longtime collaborator Brad Jones, the album captures Rouse at his most hopeful, with gentle melodies and richly detailed stories that reward close listening. Expect an intimate evening of beautifully crafted songs, understated emotion and the easy warmth of a seasoned performer who still finds joy in the simple act of playing live.
