Robyn Hitchcock at Bristol Folk House
£18.00 incl. booking fee

A gig held at Bristol Folk House on Friday 26th July. The event starts at 20:00.

Surrealist poet, a talented guitarist, cult artist and above all Robyn Hitchcock is perhaps one of England’s finest musicians. If you don’t know about Robyn Hitchcock then the closest comparison would be Bob Dylan, or maybe John Lennon, or maybe Captain Beefheart. But really he is a unique artist and we are delighted he is joining us for River Town.

His music takes “inspiration not from ordinary life but from extraordinary imaginings” (Rolling Stone) and is equal parts “witty, moving and seriously catchy” (Paste Magazine). When describing his own music Robyn says they are “paintings you can listen to”, so immerse yourself in this vivid storytelling in the glorious setting of the Folk House.

Ages 16+ (Under 18’s to be accompanied by an adult)
