Three animated shorts - The Unseen (3m), Tahlequah the Whale (15m), The Last Garden (7m) - lay the way for an evening of family fun culminating in the educational feature film Antarctica Unearthed (63m).

With support of the BFI Fan Exhibition Fund, awarding funds from the National Lottery in order to bring this project to more audiences across the UK.

The Unseen (3m): Francesco Guarini
Timo is busy making his nest, when he hears a reply to his mating call. Desperate to find his mate, he takes flight, only to find the source of the reply is not what he had hoped.

Tahlequah the Whale, A Dance of Grief (15m): Daniel Kreizberg
In the aftermath of her newborn baby's sudden death, orca mother Tahlequah carries her daughter's body across the Salish Sea in the incredible true story that captivated the world.

The Last Garden (7m): Eloise Jenninger
For Henry, the community garden is his escape from the daily toil in the city. However, the day has come for it to be demolished, Henry and his community can't agree on how to save it.

Antarctica Unearthed (63m): Ariel Waldman
If you think you know Antarctica as a barren and lifeless place, except for a few penguins, think again. Dive into "Antarctica Unearthed", where National Geographic Explorer Ariel Waldman takes you on a breathtaking journey to the most extreme and alien landscape on Earth—the Dry Valleys of Antarctica. Once called “the valley of the dead” by early explorers, this stunning documentary peels back the icy layers of the planet's harshest ecosystem, revealing the ingenious survival tactics of its tiny, elusive animal inhabitants. The documentary follows Ariel’s two-month expedition into the continent's most remote areas—so remote that she must attempt to film it, and its microscopic wildlife, entirely by herself.
